Hey, say what you like about McCain – that he never had a conviction he wouldn’t change for perceived political advantage; that his respect for the institution of marriage makes President Clinton look like Ned Flanders; that his understanding of the world in which we all live is so far out of date that Ted Stevens can fairly be said to grasp it better. But what the hell – at least he’s on the right side of the immigration issue. Nice to see you’ve all come around to seeing it our way, my conservative friends – belly up to the bar, the next round of Husseins is on me!
