The fraudulent effort to pretend Republicans have a plan.

Monday, October 5th, 2009 @ 5:53 pm | Clueless Conservatives, Health Care

They have some crappy bills their leaders don’t care about, because if Democrats incorporated them, the GOP would still vote “no.” And then their whole goddamn ruse would be exposed.

It’s about that simple. Had McCain won, health care reform wouldn’t be on the table at all. And the dead would continue piling up, while America got sicker and more broke (Grammar correction thanks to Group 2012, his only useful offering of the day/week/month/year) every day.

In light of bogus liberal assertions that Republicans have offered no solutions for health care reform, please see this updated directory of more than 40 health care bills introduced by Republican Study Committee members this year.

Dude, did you even read what I just wrote and linked to? Obviously not.

  3. Group2012 Says:

    Jeremy,

You have no credibility, so no, I don’t particularly care to see what you link to. You say GOP bills are crap, yet you fail to provide any substance on WHY they’re crap to support your claim.

You say McCain had he been elected would not have healthcare reform on the table. That’s b.s., especially given the Dems hold majority and can bring any damn thing to the table they want.

Your comment about dead, sick and ‘broker’ is more liberal b.s. that is not supported with valid substance.

Your opinion is uninformed opinion, it is without honor. You misinform people, intentionally so. You don’t care about the truth, you have a party before country agenda to maintain.

    It’s pathetic what you do.

  4. Group2012 Says:

Oh, and don’t forget, last week, another 263,000 more jobs were lost as reported by the Labor Dept. last week. Remember, the Obama Aministration promised we wouldn’t see unemployment rise above 8 percent if the trillion-dollar “stimulus” spending bill was passed. Well it passed and the unemployment rate is now the highest in 26 years and closing in on 10 percent.

The Stimulus Bill is not working.

  5. Group2012 Says:

McCain’s Health-Care Proposal: Presidential hopeful McCain announces healthcare reform plan in 2008.

    http://www.businessweek.com/bwdaily/dnflash/content/apr2008/db20080429_854428.htm

This is but one example of McCain giving the issue a place at the table. To say he wouldn’t allow it on the table is simply just a bogus claim to make. Senator McCain, Presidential candidate McCain has had this issue on the table, his record is undeniable.

Jeromy’s comment was incorrect and irresponsible.

  6. Yorkshire Says:

Hmmm, I guess HR 3400 is for re-rolling used toilet paper in your eyes. I read your article. A tad too biased.

  7. jeromy Says:

Wow, you have to be one of the biggest morons we’ve ever had on this site. And we’ve had some doozies.

How can you talk about credibility (which you’ve already bankrupted yourself of on this site), honor, and substance, and then refuse to even read what I’m linking to?

If you won’t do that, then you’re basically refusing to listen and spamming us with links. Which puts you at a level slightly above a trained monkey. Of course, you’re trained to go “NO YOU ARE THE LIAR YOU MISINFORM YOU HAVE NO HONOR TYPICAL LIBERAL LUNACY!” but the problem is you don’t really understand what any of those things mean. You just know I’m disagreeing with you, and you’re angry about it.

Note that the unemployment rate is the highest since…your hero Reagan. You really haven’t devoted more than a split second of thought to that, have you?

And that you’ve still failed to address the fact that Bush was the one who handed the broken economy to Obama and then ran for the hills.

But really, this is a pointless exercise: You claim to be here to debate, but you’ll refuse to read what other people say. That makes you dishonest, cowardly, and ignorant. (NO BUT YOU ARE THE DISHONEST COWARDLY IGNORANT ONE YOU HAVE NO HONOR! Liberal lunacy!)

  8. jeromy Says:

Yorkshire: Dude, you are one biased mofo. Explain what you have issue with in the article. Are you going to pretend that the Republicans have been promoting these bills, before Grayson dared them to step up? Are you going to pretend that Democrats haven’t already incorporated some of the ideas? That any of those bills could be incorporated and Obama would get any Republican Senator to agree to a compromise?

The GOP has sent a clear message, straight from Mitch McConnell’s mouth: they hate the Democratic plan to the core, and won’t agree to a public option no matter how many concessions we make to them.

So all y’all need to spare our asses the whining about your bills. Yeah, McCain put forth a shitty plan…and the country elected Obama and a herd of Democrats. You got exactly one stroke of luck in holding onto 40 GOP Senators, and you’ve made a run on the casino with it. Surprise, surprise, you want it your way and no other.

Group2012’s entire premise is flawed and dishonest from the getgo. This is noise, noise, pure noise.

  9. Descent Says:

    It’s pathetic what you do.

Aren’t you the guy who just the other day claimed to have written a post that was in actuality a cut and pasted White House press release?

I read the article. It’s just an echo chamber for Grayson. All the Left yells is the Reps. have no Bill. They do. You acknowledged that the other day. And the name calling is just a beautiful added touch that does loads in advancing an argument. I just can’t get enough of the expletive deleted here. Ten minutes of reading here takes care of my expletives for a month.

  11. Group2012 Says:

The notion that the GOP has not provided substance to the healthcare debate is a false one, period. The liberal loons on this blog have been provided lists of valid GOP proposals and all these blog idiots can do is say without substance, ‘GOP plans suck.’ They make wild claims but fail to demonstrate how the GOP plans are without merit.

    Liberal idiocy.

Hold on a second here, are you actually whining about being called a “mofo”?

  13. Group2012 Says:

    Grayson ‘dared to step up’?

How about, Grayson grandstanded for political purposes. Party before country………

  14. mike Says:

Aren’t you the guy who just the other day claimed to have written a post that was in actuality a cut and pasted White House press release?

Yes, that would be Group2012; resident troll and liar at large.

He claimed that he had written critically of the GOPs spendthrift ways during that parties hey-day and directed us to a post concerning Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The post quite plainly states at the bottom that it was a White House press release. So not only did he clumsily link to an article which goes out of its way to excuse Republicans from any and all wrong-doing, he claimed to have written it himself. Now we have to sit and listen to him chastise us about credibility.

  15. mike Says:

    Grayson grandstanded for political purposes.

How would it be political? He came from a hotly contested district that is evenly split Rep/Dem. You’re not making any sense.

    Party before country………

I should say the same about you.

  16. Group2012 Says:

Look at the liberal tap dancing ladies and gentlemen….. My Grayson reference wasn’t about his personal election fortune, but to the party’s….. But Mike knew that….. Mike likes to muddy the debate…. I wasn’t writing about Grayson’s district Sherlock, I was writing about what liberals are doing in general as a party, hence the PARTY BEFORE COUNTRY line.

    Liberal idiocy.

Democrats want government control of our lives, that’s why they’re attacking our liberties under the guise of healthcare reform. Grayson is towing the liberal party line. There’s no healthcare crisis and 85% of Americans are satisfied with their coverage. You are an easily duped liberal parrot. Go eat some more crackers.

  17. Group2012 Says:

    “Change we could believe in”

Did you see the SNL skit on Obama? Good comedy is always based in the truth and this was hilarious!

    Snippet:

Now, on my first day in office… (laughter), in my first day in office I said I’ve closed Guantanamo Bay. Is it closed yet? No. (Laughter). I said we’d be out of Iraq. Are we? Not the last time I checked. (Laughter). I said I’d make improvements in the war in Afghanistan. Is it better? No, I think it’s actually worse. (Laughter). How about health care reform? Hell no. (Laughter). I even, I even went personally to try to bring the Olympics to Chicago in 2016. It didn’t work out. But in this case there’s some good news with the bad. For every person who buys an American car in the next six months, you’re going to get… one of these. (Laughter) SNL president Obama holding up a Chicago Olympics 2016 T-shirt.

Nah, I don’t get enough at work, so IL fulfills my needs 🙂

  19. mike Says:

Would you get more mileage if I just called you a motherfucker?

How about this: “Satisfied now, motherfucker???!?!?” 😉

Look at the liberal tap dancing ladies and gentlemen…..

What tap dancing? I’m trying to figure out what the hell you’re talking about. Like I said, you’re not making any sense. The only “muddying” going on is inside that skull of yours.

I watched it when we had HBO, but we cut that out of our cable line-up. And I’m there almost every day, and I get the Sunpaper and listen to WBAL, so, I’m not missing too much. The first year was filmed near where I grew up. The TV repair shop/drug front used to be John’s Eltrical Repairs in the 60’s and 70’s on Highland Ave. And the one scene where they started in Philly in a garage was filmed right around the corner from where I work. The garage is on Fayette St. And if I need to see cops and drug action, I can go three blocks to Lexington Market. And right now Mayor Shiela Dixon (aunt of Juan Dixon – Basketball) is ready to go to trial on bribery charges. So, whether I watch it or not, I’m in the middle of it. One block west of our building is designated as a high crime area.

  22. jeromy Says:

Yorkshire, sorry to say it but you’re not really offering anything here, or responding to my questions.

I think you’re just taking the opportunity to look smart in comparison to Group2012.

  23. jeromy Says:

Has Group2012 answered a question yet?

  24. Jazz Hands Says:

The right has a finger in each ear and is yelling “La la la, I can’t hear you” while the left is blowing their majority advantage because they just can’t get their shit together.

BOTH sides are putting party before country. Everyone’s too busy tripping over their own dick to get anything accomplished.

  25. jeromy Says:

Erm, how are the Democrats putting party before country again? All you pointed to was the difficulty in getting 60 unified votes. Can you elaborate?
