Palin Constitution Fail

Thursday, August 19th, 2010 @ 10:23 am | Politics

I’m pretty sure everybody knows Sarah Palin has no idea what she’s talking about anyway. However, asking her to explain how Dr. Laura’s First Amendment rights were violated would be attacking Sarah Palin’s First Amendment rights.

Some poll numbers are suggesting Republicans are weaning themselves off the reverence for this over-hyped fool. Still, I’m not sure if Huffington Post can resist granting her every utterance a headline with some variation on “Palin attacks Obama/takes red meat right-winger position.” Perhaps somebody should let Arianna know that such instances are not news. Palin making sense would be news.

    You guys crack me up!

Comparing Palin to somebody vastly smarter than her for the fail.

Scott, she just claimed that one’s First Amendment rights are violated when private citizens get angry at someone and withdraw their advertising sponsorship.

The next time you Republicans (I hate to tarnish the good and fine word of “conservative” any more with this crap) find yourselves a demagogue, could you at least find one with some sense of civic understanding and a vague concept of how America functions? At least Newt Gingrich is cynical and manipulative instead of being stupid and manipulative.

Also, your sloppiness in parroting would seem a little less obvious if you could take the time to write clearly. But I suppose I’m infringing on your First Amendment rights for saying that.

  5. Scott Says:

The ole “my demagogue is smarter than your demagogue defense.” Nice.

  6. Henry Whistler Says:

I’m sorry, Scott, I didn’t mean to imply that Obama’s vastly superior intelligence was the only thing that made your comparison stupid.

  7. AJKamper Says:

If mainstream Republicanism had left to it a shred of integrity, then the fact that the party’s primary voice is a complete moron civics-wise would be, if not a cause for embarrassment, at least some concern.

Palin has got great pins and has got a decent semblance of MILF quality. Her kindergarten assement of the american political landscape is hilarious, and her foreign policy commentary is priceless.

Having said that, it’s all fun and games until you contemplate her coming anywhere near public office.

Our (dirty commie) euro prayers are with you, my yankee liberal cousins!

We can only pray they’re foolish enough to run her in 2012.

You betray our fear of her!
