Red State Values

I anxiously await the inevitable explanations from mouth-breathing right-wingers why this woman deserved to be curb-stomped.

I personally think that they relish this sort of violence just as long as it’s directed at non-tribal members. It’s why they can’t be trusted with power. As we saw with the passing of the Patriot Act they’ll gladly wipe their asses with the Constitution if it means getting a few blows in against their political enemies.

Too bad there is no explanation for it.

It was a terrible act and it deserves condemnation for it. Glad he was kicked off that campaign and I hope she sues the hell out of him for it.

Tim Profitt, the curb-stomper, Dana Loesch (editor of Breitbart’s Big Journalism), and Rush Limbaugh disagree.

Expect calls for Ms. Valle’s apology to increase, and “respectable” GOP politicians to soon follow suit.

Let’s not even talk about what would happen if this were, as Ed Schultz wondered today, a black man in an Obama t-shirt stepping on a Republican woman’s head.

Has anyone been over to CSPT to see who is the first one to start asking what Ms. Valle did to deserve it? My money is on John Hitchcock.

Yeah let’s not talk about that.

Or Kenneth Gladney, a black man who was attending a tea party rally handing out Gadsden flags, who was pretty viciously beaten by a couple of white SEIU workers. That got pretty ignored but this new story there’s something special about it that just can’t be ignored.

Also, I’m pretty interested to know where you found opinions from Rush and Loesch that say she deserved it?

Btw, I’ve heard the Gladney story, but the footage doesn’t quite match his story, does it?

  8. ladk Says:

    Yes it does.

  9. Henry Whistler Says:

Have you seen it? First of all, both Gladney and a worker are sprawled on the ground, Gladney springing up and the worker running away clutching his shoulder. Other SEIU workers surround Gladney help him up and block the other assailant from getting close to him.

Oh, and the SEIU worker on the ground? Black.

So no, it doesn’t. I’m willing to believe Gladney got in a scuffle, but not that this is a comparably brutal situation.
