Fishing Little Bay de Noc with some friends this week. The weather’s been kinda rough but the fishing has been phenomenal. I think the trapper hat is the key to success.

Always remember the weather of the Edmund Fitzgerald in November,

It’s a good thing that none of Mr Ganzeveld’s friends would mention that he looks like a flop-eared bunny in that hat! 🙂

We’re out on Big Bay de Noc right now. It’s 35 degrees and raining with a steady 10 mph wind. Excellent walleye weather.

  4. Dana Says:

Well, given that walleye are fish, wouldn’t excellent walleye weather be wet?

It actually got a little dicey out there last night. The wind really picked up and we had a hard time getting back in. A real white knuckle ride hitting five foot breakers. I kissed the ground when we got back.
