Like Andrew Sullivan, I was inclined to read this as referring to journalists. Please, people, can we stop calling EVERYTHING a gaffe? On both sides?
Well, I don’t see how that makes things much better, and Sullivan agreed with the nature of the comment that my title refers to. In no small part because she’s simply flat-out wrong on the actual issue here.
